Before COMPEL, I haphazardly wrote my musings and stumbled upon blogging, not knowing what I was doing. After COMPEL, I had a plan and a strategy for my writing. Every month we offer a brand new teaching about writing called COMPEL Classes which take place in The Connection Courtyard, a private Facebook page. Each class is taught by an industry expert who you can engage with and have your questions answered in real time. It’s a great place to connect with other writers and make new friends.

COMPEL Annual Publishing Opportunities
Book Contract Opportunities: COMPEL and Proverbs 31 have partnered with three top traditional Christian publishing houses to offer three COMPEL Members a book contract every year.
First 5 App Writing Challenge: The Proverbs 31 First 5 App provides a daily biblical teaching and has exceeded four million downloads around the world. Five COMPEL members each year have their winning teaching published in the First 5 App.
Encouragement for Today Devotion Writing Challenge: The Proverbs 31 daily devotions reach millions of people per day with God’s Word. Ten to fifteen devotions by COMPEL members are published each year.
Proverbs 31 Publications: Proverbs 31 prints multiple books per year for online studies and donor campaigns, many of which include devotions written by COMPEL members.
Social Media Challenges: COMPEL has thousands of followers on several social media platforms where COMPEL members can have their work published once per year, as well as be considered for publication on the COMPEL Training blog.
