PRESIDENT AND CHIEF VISIONARY OFFICER
Lysa TerKeurst Adams is President and Chief Visionary Officer of Proverbs 31 Ministries. She is also a six-time New York Times bestselling author of Good Boundaries and Goodbyes, Forgiving What You Can’t Forget, It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way, Uninvited, and more. Her devotional Embraced won the ECPA book of the year for 2019. Lysa was also recently awarded the Champions of Faith Author Award and has appeared on the Today Show many times as one of the leading voices in the Christian community.
Each year, Lysa is a featured keynote presenter at events all across North America and online, including the Global Leadership Summit. She also tours state to state regularly with Transparent Productions. She has a passion for equipping women to share their stories for God’s glory through Proverbs 31 Ministries’ annual She Speaks Conference and her writer training program called COMPEL Pro Writers Training. GLYNNIS WHITWER
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF MINISTRY CONTENT
Glynnis Whitwer is on staff with Proverbs 31 Ministries as Executive Director of Ministry Content, overseeing the teams that lead COMPEL Pro, as well as developing and editing the content for First 5, She Speaks Conference, and Encouragement for Today Devotions. Glynnis has been on staff with Proverbs 31 Ministries for 25 years. She is the author or co-author of 10 books and has done freelance editing for major Christian publishers. Glynnis and her husband, Tod, live in Phoenix, Arizona; they have five adult children, two beautiful daughters-in-love and three adorable grandchildren.
RUTH SCHWENK
DIRECTOR OF COMPEL PRO WRITERS TRAINING
Ruth Schwenk is the Director of COMPEL Pro Writers Training and has partnered with Proverbs 31 Ministries since 2015. A bestselling author and founder of multiple thriving online communities, she has spent over 15 years mentoring writers and creatives and building meaningful platforms. She is the author of several books, including Hope for the Heartbroken, The Love Your Life Project, Trusting God in All the Things, and The Better Mom Devotional.
NICKI KOZIARZ
CONTENT WRITER & STRATEGIST
Nicki Koziarz is a four-time bestselling author and Bible teacher. She is a wife, mom, writing coach, and first-generation farmer. She and her family live just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, on a small farm they affectionately have named “The Fixer Upper Farm.” In 2023, Nicki and her husband, Kris, brought home their adopted three sons from Haiti. The entire process took them over five years. Their family is officially complete with three daughters and three sons. While life is full with a farm and a large family, Nicki is passionate about teaching the Word of God to women across the world. She’s on a relentless pursuit of leading her generation to find where God is moving and joining Him there. She has been featured at Lifeway Women events, Proverbs 31 Ministries, Life Today and has been on multiple nationally known podcasts and radio stations. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MANAGER
Madelynn Reyes joined Proverbs 31 Ministries in 2022, spending four years serving on the Donor Team before stepping into her current role as the COMPEL Pro Community Engagement Manager. Madelynn is the ultimate cheerleader for women, loving nothing more than seeing them embrace their freedom and thrive in the unique spaces God has placed them. Believing fully in the power of showing up for one another, Madelynn dedicates her days listening to, serving, and growing the COMPEL Pro Community. She has had the honor of writing for Encouragement for Today Devotions and has been featured on The Proverbs 31 Ministries Podcast. And just like the ladies in COMPEL Pro, she’s a fellow traveler on the journey — learning, growing, and leaning into God to share her story in a way that changes lives.
AMBERLY COOPER
OPERATIONS SUPPORT COORDINATOR
Amberly Cooper serves as the Operations Support Coordinator for COMPEL Pro Writers Training. She lives with her husband, William, in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she is also a licensed real estate broker. Amberly brings a background in ministry leadership, client relations, and service, and she has a heart for making sure the people around her are supported and cared for well. As a longtime follower of Proverbs 31 Ministries, she considers it a true honor to now serve on the other side of the mission she has loved for so long. Amberly is passionate about working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly so that every COMPEL Pro member can focus on what they do best — incredible writing.
