4 God-Given Ways To Use AI To Make Your Social Media Stand Out

With AI still being relatively new to the writing and social media community, you may be asking yourself if you should use it and if so, how to make the most of it. Look no further, friend, because we’ve got you! We have put together a list of four ways to use AI so you can stand out above the rest … AI prompts included!

Have you ever sat down to plan your social media content and thought, Lord, I need help and a whole miracle? Me too.

Showing up consistently on social media can feel overwhelming, especially when balancing ministry, business, family — and, you know, trying to rest. But there are lots of free artificial intelligence, or AI, tools that can be used for good to help you show up with purpose and peace.

While ChatGPT and other AI tools are not here to replace the Holy Spirit (never that!), they are powerful tools to support the message God has placed on your heart. Whether you’re sharing devotionals, encouraging others with your testimony, or building a business rooted in faith, here are four easy ways to use AI tools to take your social media to the next level — without burning out.

1. Use ChatGPT to build a content calendar.

Many of us have been there: It’s a new month and your social media queue is empty. Instead of staring at a blank planner, you can ask ChatGPT to help you map out a month of posts around your message, scriptures, or themes.

Try this prompt:

“Please create a four-week content calendar for moms ages 25-44. Please create a total of 12 posts (three per week). Topics should include faith, home, and family.”

You’re still the vessel. You’re still choosing the message. But you’ve got a little help pushing past the mental fog. It will give you ideas, categories, and even suggested hooks or captions if you’d like. From there, you can tweak, pray over it, and make it your own.

2. Use AI to brainstorm ideas for captions and hooks.

We live in a “keep scrolling” world, so that first line matters, and coming up with impactful captions that point your audience to Jesus can be tough. AI can help you polish your captions, create scroll-stopping hooks, or even help you rewrite something in a more conversational tone if you feel stuck.

Try this prompt:

“Please create 10 viral social media hooks for a Christian woman encouraging others in their faith journey.”

Or get even more specific:

“Please draft Instagram hooks that connect Scripture with real-life struggles for moms.”

It’s your message and your heart — just with a little extra seasoning. As you share your God-given message, remember this: “Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt” (Colossians 4:6, NIV).

3. Use AI to batch your content.

God didn’t call you to be online 24/7. Rest should be a part of your rhythm too (Hebrews 4:9). Batching your content ahead of time can give you more space to breathe, pray, and be present in real life.

Try this:

Ask AI to help you outline or give ideas for several posts at once. For example:

“Please give me ideas for four encouraging Instagram captions that I can use for Christian moms with the potential to reach a wide audience of moms by resonating with where they are currently at in life.”

Then, use the ideas to finish writing the captions, and schedule them using your favorite social media tool — and enjoy your Sabbath guilt-free.

4. Use AI to brainstorm Reels.

If video content feels intimidating, you’re not alone — but don’t sleep on Reels! They’re a powerful way to share your content. ChatGPT can help you brainstorm ideas that align with your message and catch attention.

Try this prompt:

“Please come up with 10 short Reels ideas for a Christian content creator focused on encouragement and Scripture.”

Want to hop on trends without losing your authentic voice? Add:

“Include trending audio ideas and simple transitions I can do at home.”

It’s a great way to create content that resonates while keeping Christ at the center.

At the end of the day, tools like ChatGPT are just that — tools. Smart ones, sure — but it’s your heart and His Spirit that make the message powerful. You don’t need to go viral to be valuable. But if a little help from AI lets you serve more people with less stress … That sounds like good stewardship to me.

Blessings,
Regina Lewis
