Ruth Schwenk is Assistant Director of COMPEL and has been involved with Proverbs 31 Ministries in various ways since 2015. She is the founder of the popular blog, TheBetterMom.com and the trusted author of several books, including Jesus, Calm My Heart, Trusting God in All the Things, The Better Mom Devotional and more. Ruth is a Michigan football super-fan and a self-proclaimed foodie. But her greatest joy is her family. She lives with her children, two adorable pugs, and their loyal Labrador retriever in the beautiful, college town of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
